Research

McMaster University and LEEDS University AI Study

In this research study undertaken, jointly by Stuart Flint, Leeds University, and Eva Klein and Len Waverman of McMaster University, we are inviting 1000 residents of the UK and 1000 residents of Canada, all over 65, to take part in a survey. The survey examines these peoples attitudes towards aging and their experiences, all based on their responses.

The secret sauce is an AI algorithm which is able to place people into different personality clusters based on the written answers to the questions. We hope to identify personality traits associated with aging well, and not so well. This will enable us to devise mechanisms to help those who are not aging well.

Research Studies

At UBVisible, we believe that research is critical to understanding and addressing the issues faced by older adults. That’s why Eva Klein, Leonard Waverman, and their team are conducting ongoing research on the experiences of ageing adults and visibility in society. Through our research, we hope YOU will shed light on the challenges faced by older adults, and develop suggestions and recommendations to create a more inclusive society.
